Our longstanding relationship with the Jefferson Reaves Residential Treatment Center provides life skills/enrichment workshops for women in recovery from addiction.
The middle school years are a major period of transition for young girls. our Emerging Young Ladies program surrounds young girls in grades 5-8 with a nurturing, caring and enriching village of support.
Film and cinematic productions are important teaching tools. The Serious Matter Movie Series, open to youth in grades 5 through 12, hosts movie outings to films of social, cultural and historical significance.
Annually during the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. National Weekend of Service the Foundation convenes youth from throughout South Florida in an interactive symposium to focus on important social justice issues based on Dr. King's life and teachings.
In partnership with the Miami Arts & Entertainment Council (MAEC), the Foundation administers arts scholarshiips to eligible high school seniors enrolled in the Miami Northwestern Senior High School Performing and Visual Arts Conservatory (PAVAC), the first of its kind in the Miami Dade County Public School System.

In collaboration with Florida Memorial University, the Foundation sponsors the annual presentation of the classic holiday musical extravaganza.
With our longstanding partner, the Gamma Zeta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, we host Saturday enrichment programs for youth in grades 5 through 12.
The Foundation hosts its annual trunk party to support rising juniors from our local state college who are transferring to Tuskegee University.
